The Latin Grammys 2021.

The Latin GRAMMYs have been the biggest night of Latin music since 2000. Born from the traditional Grammys, the ceremony recognizes the achievements in the Latin music industry every year, enabling artists and the audience to share their heritage through music.

In 2020, due to the global pandemic many of the award shows across the globe were either limited or cancelled. A year later and the world being in a better place Verizon partnered with Univision in the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards to bring fans closer to their favorite artists with a 5G enhanced experience, the Verizon 5G Portal.  

The objective was to deliver exclusive content + cutting-edge technology to drive deeper engagement and connection with the Latin GRAMMYs, unlocking value for Verizon.

The Verizon 5G Portal transported fans into an exclusive, never been done before, behind-the-scenes VIP experience. By creating connective tissue between Univision telecast, Latin GRAMMYs content, and Verizon’s ad units we were able to motivate fans to actively engage throughout key moments of the show.

As a result, we had over 21,000 visits to the portal and 7.7M Impressions and 575k Engagements on social.
